I entered these four photos, matted and framed, in our county fair last week. I entered 12 in all. Although the fair was only open 2 days because of Hurricane Florence, these four shots won a second place ribbon in the seascape, action, animal and macro categories. She said my sunrise at Myrtle Beach shot would have won first except for some distortion around the silhouetted buildings that I could have edited out. Then she was stunned to find out that I took that photo on my old cell phone because my camera battery died. I hadn't realized it had distortion because it didn't show until it was blown up to an 8x10. Oh, well. Prize total for my 2 blue ribbon and 4 red ribbon photos is $28, which is almost what I spent to just print the photos! LOL!
