161 - Well, the last couple of weeks have been fascinating. I wouldn't claim to be a keen sports fan, but over the years I have taken part in athletics, cross country running, swimming, cycling and challenge walking, but my standards were well below those of the sports people we've seen in London during the Olympics. The level of their achievement is fantastic.
I didn't get to London, but I've witnessed quite a lot of the events on tv, and enjoyed all sorts of sport that I haven't really been interested in before. A big thank you to the sports people of every nation who helped make this such a fascinating event.
Today, it's all finished, and life will settle back to normal, (at least until the paralympics!) but I've thoroughly enjoyed the party, and I hope that you all have too!
back to the same lousy programs. I do go through a day or two of adjustments after the Olympics are over. Love watching the competitions.... anyway, love the legos!
Perhaps a lot more active stuff!!! But the games were great!
Lego certainly is fun! - when the children were young, I found it very theraputic to play with them with the Lego after a bad day at work!
Thank you Deb, glad you like it! - and I assume you really enjoyed your times at the games?
Just hold on! - the Paralympics are on their way!!
Thank you Lizzy, glad you like the Lego figures!
Thank you Brian - I think I'm going to miss all this sport!
Thank you Bob - there are some great memories from a wonderful festival of sport!
Thank you Roslyn - I agree, Lego really is cool!
Thank you Lesley, glad you like it!
Thank you Tin, glad you like it! These figures are my grandsons pride and joy!
Thank you Alison - it was certainly a fabulous 2 weeks!
Thank you Boxplayer, glad you like it!
Thank you Ann - these guys have had a very busy time being played with by my grandson!
