Fallen Tree

This tree was struck by lightning several years ago, and it split the trunk, which fell across the public footpath. The landowner cut some of it, but it’s still partially blocking the path. I like it though, it’s really smooth where the bark has peeled off, and always pass my hand over it as we walk past.

I do the same with a tree its a lucky knot every time i walk past. the connectivity in an action is part of photography , in the story. Good shot Ian.
