Beautiful weather and when I put the clothes out on the washing line he was singing a lot. He stayed just long enough for me to get my camera. Cropped a bit because when I was getting closer he left.
This one is pretty, isn't he @stephanies ? We have many beauties here but the problem is that they can fly away quickly... so either a lot of time and patient is needed or luck. I was lucky this day!

Hmmm @ingrid01 we have lots of feral pigeons and woodpiegons all over the place.... not sure if they are considered pretty though... I do get lots of little birds on our feeders but it's next to impossible trying to photograph them because if I go to the back door the dogs are right behind me and that's the end of that if you know what I mean... We do have green paraquets that are not native to our country but having been released here [either by accident or on purpose] they are thriving well... I'll try and capture those if I can sometime. :)
