@stephanies@roachling@woofandweft1 I was talking to my neighbor and unfortunately we seem to have a problem... There are toooo many... at this moment I'm not sure what to do about them.
I have loads in my garden too Ingrid but I am not growing anything so I am not bothered about them, they can eat what they want. A few years ago I tried growing runner beans though... oh my goodness, I had to go out every evening to pick them off.... I tried all kinds of things to try and deter them - crushed egg shells was one thing. I also circled the base of the plant with a green layer of sturdy plastic and then added a copper ring of sticky tape around it as this is supposed to deter them - nothing much worked apart from picking them off. I read about beer traps being successful, but I didn't try it, as I don't like to kill anything.

Our gardening / vegetable fruit project is just for fun. Although my husband loves our home grown strawberries. Maybe because it's only one or two every week ;) I have not taken any action to get rid off the snails so far...
