Sunrise

Today I drove my kids to school. The sky was amazing. My son, sitting in front took photos for me with my iPhone.
Normally my husband drives them, but he had a conference call for work with people in Malaysia, London and Mexico, so he had to be in the office at a strange time.

What a lovely sight - the colours of sunrise and sunset can be quite spectacular at times. What time does school start for your children Ingrid? I see this was taken at 7.01am.

The elementary school runs from 7.25 am to 2.30pm every day, but she has to be there latest at 7.15am because she is in the last year (5th grade - year 6 in UK system I believe) and she does the announcements/broadcast for the whole school with a little group.
The Middle and High School the other 2 go to start at 7.45am and finishes at 3.05pm

Interesting, your children do an extra hour a day then. Most secondary schools here start around 9.00am and finished between 3.00-30. @ingrid01

@stephanies I won't tell them that - otherwise they want to move to the UK...
(I won't mind moving, but there is more work here for my husband)
