We have 2 trees in our front yard. They are approximately 40 years old (planted when the houses were built). Since we moved in about 5 years ago, we noticed that many similar trees in neighbors' yards have fallen. One of our trees has a fungus problem too and I don't know how long it will last before we have to remove it. However, the other tree is thriving! Today they both had their spring-feed.
Sad to read about your neighbours trees and that you have one affected, I hope the other one doesn't catch it. They look so lovely, ours are just starting to leaf here.
