In the morning just before I left the house at 8.30am I noticed that the ceiling was a little wet. I checked the bathroom upstairs and could not really find anything. When I came back at 3pm it was raining in our living room... Fortunately a plumber could come out and fix the problem. We were very lucky. Water was coming through a broken connection, but the connection had not "snapped". That could have happened any moment and then our house would have been flooded... (iPhone pictures)
Thank goodness, it didn't snap.... I had a pipe burst in the last place I lived in... it brought the ceiling right down in my flat and the flat underneath :(
