Trophies mark the end of Swim Team....
It's been a while since I have posted... First I was asked to fell in for a teacher who left and although I loved it, 5 days a week was too much. Especially because in May the neighborhood Swim Team started and I was one of the Reps (representatives/organizers). Swim Team is a lot of fun - kids (4 - 18yrs old) have practice every day except Sunday and Monday. On Saturdays they have meets and compete against other neighborhood teams. We had 68 families with 126 kids participating and you can imagine that it is a lot of work to organize it...
Our end of Season Party was Saturday June 24th and because we had a tie for the high point runner up 6&Under Boys, I had to get another trophy. The owner of this little shop was super friendly and I could not resist snapping a picture with my iPhone.
Although I still have a lot of cleaning/catching up to do at home I am happy to be back here and looking forward to coming back to the routine of taking a daily picture!
