In Sequoia National Park we did several hikes and then I wanted to drive through a tree too. But we missed it. My husband was convinced it was still coming, but stopped here to have a look at the park map. We did miss it, but the view from that point was beautiful (do you see the road we still had to follow?) and because it was already getting late we decided not turn around for it. I would love to get back to this National Park one day, though!
