Too much water... by ingrid01

Too much water...

This morning I took Baloo to the beach... I have been walking with a friend on another beach, so this was the first time we went back to our old spot after cyclone Shaheen (October 3rd).
It was high tide, but I think some things have been changed too.. Normally we could cross shallow water there, even with high tide...
I'm planning to go back with low tide soon, because I'm curious to see how much has changed...
Beautiful scene.

Such a lovely spot; and so peaceful.

Oh how interesting. Sands do shift during cyclones and the height may have changed, encouraging the water to come in further.

Lovely to see the small waves breaking.

Sands shift so rapidly don't they. We walked to Fingal Spit yesterday and I will be posting photos over the next few days.

Mooie opname. Hoog water is iedere dag anders. Denk aan Springtij. En met een beetje (on)gunstge wind wordt het nog erger.
( watersnoodramp 1952 hier. Springtij en een Noordwesterstorm waren de oorzaak. + slechte dijken.) . )
