During my short trip to the Netherlands there we had one day without a plan. Because I grew up in Rotterdam and always went to Kinderdijk, I never seen the Zaanse Schans. Now staying with my son in Amsterdam it was only a 30 minutes drive.
The weather cooperated (more or less) because it stayed dry and it was definitely a lovely trip!
