Tropical Sage

Today was a hot and humid day. Maybe that was the reason that the flower of this plants are not as red as they were earlier in the week.
To see if I could learn a little more about them I checked my app and found out that a common name for it is Tropical Sage. The Botanical Name is Salvia Coccinea.
I did not find any info about the fading of the nice red color.

The red is still striking against the soft green background and so brilliant in the sunlight! Fav
