I don't know what kind of bird this is. it did not move from it's place no matter how close anyone got. when I passed him the second time he was spreading his wings though. very beautiful feathers.
look at the detail on those feathers! and the colors are great. love.

It's a Shag or a Cormorant, not confident to say with your birds.

A beautiful image. These birds have no oil in their feathers and so need to dry them quickly to maintain body temperature,

It looks like a cormorant! We have them here and they spread their wings to dry off. Love the detail!
