celebrated our girls night out Christmas this weekend with an overnight stay in Ohio with a friend whose husband preaches at a church there. we are all originally from Michigan and our children went to school together and are all adults now. I have been meeting with these women for easily 10 years and some have been getting together for longer. once a month breakfast or dinner and every Christmas an overnight stay. we started our night with barbecue at a restaurant called the Barrel and Boar...when we were finished I popped outside to snap a few shots and loved this shot of the doorway looking in with the warm glowing light bokeh inside. for the december words lights...oh I also surprised them by having the lights turned on at City Hall across the street when we came out and it had turned dark ; ) ...posted in another album!
