I just looked back at photos from last year at this time to see when we first spotted Sand Hill Cranes and it was right about now….! I am missing getting out “birding” but happy to see your photo of the cranes—one of my favorites.
@amyk I don't have to go far to see them as this is my backyard, they wake me in the morning...kinda noisy guys. I'm thinking these are the same ones that return every year. they are fun to watch and I think I'm learning a bit about their actions. praying for a speedy and complete recovery for you to get back out shooting!
