This Morning at Sunrise
"There they go now, early morning, leaving, the red sun on them . . . the whoosh of wings like the sound of a train. The bringing together of feather, perfectly groomed. Droves of them travel."

I was on 365 for almost three years, took over a year off, and have now returned. I plan to post a combination of photos...

Thank you all for commenting on my photo of the cranes at sunrise. This wildlife refuge is a one-hour drive from our house, and we've been there many times for the sunset. We woke up early yesterday and decided on a whim to go for the sunrise. We were the only people there which added to the experience.

Wow. Such an amazing photo. It really captures how many of them sit in the water as well as how they blot out the sky.
