Thanks so much for commenting on my photo of our backyard peach tree. We had a wonderful peach tree at a previous house, so when we moved here, we planted one, but it was the wrong kind! Its peaches were small and the seeds were the cling type and hard to remove, and it was so bountiful that it almost split the trunk in two. So we uprooted it and began again with this little one, and Charlie has been really pampering it, hoping that it will become like the tree we had in the old days. It's still too young to tell at this stage.
