Father and son now work together to create our traditional Christmas morning breakfast sandwiches — a fried egg, a few bacon strips, and a slice of American cheese on a toasted bagel. Who knew that enjoying these tasty treats with a colorful glass of cold orange juice would become such a treasured ritual after opening gifts? We all look forward to it! Son served himself last; and this impromptu picture of him walking away from the stove, spatula still in hand, warms my heart. Here’s to traditions passing from one generation to the next!
