Thank you, Lord, for the astilbes blooming around the pond.
Red, pink, white — we've looked forward to the astilbes' masses of lacy plumes every June since planting them 18 years ago. They never disappoint; and this year, they're prettier than ever. In fact, most things in the garden are prettier than ever this year; and we attribute that to not getting a frost in May like we usually do. I can't remember the last time we didn't get a frost. What a difference it makes when Pittsburgh weather cooperates with us gardeners!
Now it's time to relax and enjoy the garden! As this is my 365th picture, it's time to say goodbye. It took me a bit longer than one year to complete this second project, because I took some time off; but complete it I did, and I'm thrilled to have these 365 pictures and the memories they hold. Thank you for following along with my photographic gratitude journal. I'll be looking in from time to time, because I know I will miss seeing your beautiful images! Perhaps one day we'll meet again here on 365. I'd like that. God bless!
@helenhall I must thank you, Helen Jane, for your loyal following. I loved reading each and every one of your thoughtful comments. Even when times got incredibly busy and I was unable to comment back, you stuck with me; and I so appreciate that. Your words brought me such joy! I'll miss viewing your beautiful images and reading your wonderful commentaries. I so enjoyed your project; and I'll be looking in on it in the future, for sure! I wish you the best, sweet 365 friend!
@janetb I think I missed your second paragraph above somehow. How remiss of me to not even say goodbye! I am sad that you have finished your project, but understand that there is a time to let go. I hope it will just be au revoir. I have thoroughly enjoyed following your beautiful photography and thankful commentary. So thank you. I shall take from you, the challenge, always to be thankful.
Congratulations on completing your 2nd year, Janet. I've loved looking at your pictures and loved how you presented them as blessings. I think that way, too, of all the wonderful things in the world. Enjoy your summer and your garden and I hope you will stop in to visit us here when you get a chance. Take care.
Congratulations on finishing your second project! I hope there will be a third sometime in the future as your photography and comments are a joy to see each day.
@janeandcharlie Thank you so much, Jane! I really enjoyed your project and the great glimpses you gave me of life in your beautiful area. I’ll definitely be checking in!
This is a beautiful pic ...Congratulations on finishing your second year of 365!
I quite understand needing some time off, as I have struggled lately to make time to visit 365 and post; however, I hope it is not quite "goodby" but "until we meet again!" I have very much enjoyed following your project to see your beautiful photos and read your inspiring narratives. As you go forward, may the Lord richly bless you and your family!
What a beautiful shot to end your project on. Congratulations on completing your project and best wishes for future photographic endeavors. Thanks for your comments on my photos. I appreciated them.
Beautiful. May the Lord truly bless you in any future endeavours. Not sure if you you are on Facebook or not. If you we would to stay in contact. You can find us at Melody-Brian Bigam
How delightful to have you stop by. Do hope all is well in Pennsylvania and you've had a good summer. Wanted you to know that a lot of your way of looking at things is helping me now cope with so many changes and I thank you. May the Lord continue to bless you and your family.
@milaniet What a sweet comment, Milanie...thank you! The Lord is truly so good! All is well here. We did quite a bit of traveling this summer, and we are now looking forward to the beautiful fall season. I pray that you feel the Lord’s presence continually. He is faithful and will be with you always.
