Hello again, everyone; and Happy New Year! I began this project in 2015 for incentive to capture God’s gifts as a way of increasing my gratitude, and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience; but admittedly, at the completion of my project, I sought the freedom of observing His goodness without my camera in hand. It didn’t take long, however, for me to realize just how much photography helps me appreciate the gifts He bestows. In creating my images, I draw closer to God and cultivate a more grateful heart; so I’m back and excited to begin my second year, which I will devote to creating a photographic gratitude journal.
Thank you, Lord, for this first day of the fresh, new year all brimming with hopes and dreams and beautiful birds.
Wonderful image of this beautiful nuthatch -- and great narrative ...Welcome back! I have found that photos add immeasurable value whenever I keep a gratitude journal; I look forward to seeing your pics of blessings the Lord has in store for you in this new year! Fav!
Sweet capture, Janet. It's nice to see you back. I agree that taking pictures can really open ones eyes more to see the beauty of nature. Happy New Year to you, also.
I'm SO EXCITING that you've come back to 365!! It made my day to see your note on my camera picture. It's good to be back myself. Very much looking forward to seeing your images and inspiring words in the coming year. Happy New Year, Janet.
