Sumac

Thank you, Lord, for the fallen sumac cone's frosty splash of red on top of so many brown leaves — a welcome sight on my walk this morning.

Love the colors below that lovely frost. So much out there when we keep our eyes open. Saw two young 20's girls walking the trail the other day - both texting on their cell phones - can't imagine how much they missed going on around them. Sure wanted to stop them and say "Hey - look around you!"
