Thank you, Lord, for the praying mantis in the pear tree.
Stopped me in my tracks, this praying mantis did. I hadn't seen one in years! Clinging to a shady branch with bright patches of light peeking through the leaves, this mantis picked the perfect spot to make my getting a good picture difficult. I decided to put the camera down and just enjoy its presence while thinking about what an amazing world we live in.
