Our First Christmas Together

Thank you, Lord, for the first Christmas Mike and I spent together way back in 1979 and for this ornament that commemorates that special time.

John’s a newlywed, and he mentioned to me today that he'd like to get an "Our First Christmas Together" ornament for his wife this year — said he'd always loved the one his Dad and I have. Well, I never knew he'd felt that way about this ornament; and now it's even more special to me.

Rather than snap a new picture of this ornament today, I pulled this one from the archives.

Nice shot of something so special. I also have a First Christmas Together ornament from 1981. My daughter got married back in October and she also asked me to get her and her new husband one. Such an honor for me. We want the memories for our children that we've had and held on to for all our years together. Congratulations on all your years together.
