Nirali

Thank you, Lord, for Nirali — she's opened our eyes to a whole new world!

We tried our hand at cooking some Indian food last night in honor of our daughter-in-law's heritage. We cheated a little by using a pre-packaged Indian spice mix, but the chickpea curry dish turned out delicious! We served it with paratha (a flaky, Indian flatbread) thanks to Nirali's suggestion (I made my first ever visit to an Indian grocery store to get it). What fun we had preparing and enjoying this tasty, aromatic meal!
It looks good, Janet, and it sounds like a fun thing to do.

How cool is that that you took the time to learn to cook in honor of daughter-in-law. I think photographing food is hard so I applaud you for this wonderful shot! Fav.

Looks wonderful! I've never been able to take a liking to curry, but if I made a recipe myself, I could substitute.
