Thank you, Lord, for pretty blue shadows.

Everything from the tallest oaks to the tiniest remnants of last season's perennials cast pretty blue shadows this morning; and oh, how I love a surprise overnight snowfall!

It is very pretty! This is the first time in all my long life that we've had a winter with no snow. We've had not a drop of moisture since October. They say it's the worse on record for over 130 years. I can't tell you how much I am soaking up these photos and phrases like, "surprise overnight snowfall."
