79°

Thank you, Lord, for the 79° afternoon — in February!

I visited the Murrysville Community Park Wetlands on this unseasonably warm afternoon to look for Spring migrants and found killdeer squealing as they sailed overhead. It felt good to be outdoors without a coat, scarf, and gloves! A strong breeze sent fallen hydrangea panicles blowing around like tumbleweeds. Many came to rest in gleaming puddles.
This is an unusual setting for the hydrangea - they look very pretty. I love how you find something to be thankful for each day.

This warm weather is such an unexpected treat - the color of these hydrangea leaves is so nice and soft - nicely composed, Janet.
