another trip to Stratford this afternoon to pick my son up because he was staying late at school. Got there a bit early to try to get a long shutter speed shot of a fountain in answer to my get-pushed challenge for this week - complete fail, as they kept coming out massively over-exposed (think the limitations of my bridge camera with its min apperture of f8 are beginning to show!)
While I was walking along the bank of the River Avon I noticed a long line of swans walking from the other side of the recreation ground towards the river so rushed to where they were getting in. I assumed that they would detour when they saw me, but these were swans on a mission!
This shot shows the last half of the line they walked the whole way across the park from where you can see the cars parked in the distance. They stayed in single file the whole way and took turns to jump in the river...... who knows why.....
@michellegaynor to be honest Michelle, I think it's a bit OTT HDR-wise too. I think I was trying to cover up the fact although I like the subject matter of the photo, it isn't particularly well taken!
