................ chocolate praline filled ones bought for Graham for Valentine's Day to be precise.
Is it wrong that my choice of valentine's gift for Graham was completely dictated by the fact that as soon as I saw it in the shop I thought 'that would be nice to photograph?' And who said that romance was dead?
I managed to open the box, take my photo and seal it up again without sneaking a little taste of these gorgeous sounding chocs. Quite an achievement I think.
Off now as a trip to Waitrose awaits me - oh the glamour!............
they look scrummy! I too have bought things purely for for photo op! I did M&S for the mea deal and I received something sparkly as my gift I do love valentines day its a chance to spoil each other!
The very first thing I thought of was 'good choice' for photo but I understand we have to do things like that !!!!!!!!!!
Fab job you did too, the focus & DOF are excellent, love the delicate colour as well.
Ooooh pretty colours. If I could eat one out of the iPad I would - irresistible! I've somehow managed to have to go to Waitrose on Saturday - it will be full of elderly couples and people who let their toddlers have far too much freedom and I might go mad.
Lovely shot. Funny but I did the same thing. I left a box of chocolates under my hubby's card and he looked puzzled, then before I even grabbed my camera he had a lightbulb moment and asked if he could have one before I took pics or if he needed to wait.
Oh how pretty. Lovely gift. If it was wrong, its at least not as wrong as my gift for J, which consisted of an emailed photo of a pair of spoons 'on a puke rag' (his words).
Yes, but it was a very artfully draped puke rag wasn't it? And I think that e-mailing a valentine's card to somebody you actually lives with is the perfect epitome of new-parenthood. @jewelsandbinoculars
That is a fabulous shot. It's a beautiful subject and you captured it perfectly.
And I think it is absolutely fine that your choice of gift was influenced by your photo addiction. There are worse addictions to have. ;-)
Besides, your hubby got a yummy treat out of the whole deal.
Now...if only your hubby had the same photo addiction and felt a need to buy a lovely diamond bracelet for you because he wanted to photograph it. LOL
PS..were the eggs as yummy as they look?
