well, I seem to have completely lost my drive to take photos this week - just completely uninspired. I blame the weather, well I blame it for most things, so I might as well. So here is another one from Monday.
A very dull day. (First day of spring!) I spent most of it dealing with numerous admin things that I should have done before now. So I am feeling quite smug to be almost up to date.
It was relatively bright, but with a bitter easterly wind first thing so I took Joey Boy for another pre-Palm Sunday venture into the church. He doesn't bat an eyelid, even when I have to pull back some heavy curtains that are on a really noisy track to let us into the church, so I am hopeful that he will behave on Sunday. Heavy snow is forecast for Saturday and I think it will still be lying around on Sunday which should be interesting. Especially the bit where I have to get him down a very steep concrete slope from our field, so we will have to see if it looks possible to do it safely on the day. I am also pondering how I am going to be able to get a photo of him doing his duties if I am leading him. Maybe I will have to ask the vicar to take over the donkey leading duties for a while, tho I don't get the impression that he is much of an animal lover.

Kamikaze pheasant was hanging around for most of the day. Possibly limping slightly less and his broken tail feather has fallen out, so he is looking a far less sorry sight.
Oh you must get a picture. I'm looking forward to it. How can a vicar not be an animal lover? Are they not all God's creations? We have had heavy snow for most of the night.
This is lovely. I am exactly the same Jan, uninspired and too cold to take my camera out! Hard to remain upbeat when all there is is grey grey and more grey.
I think we are all sick of winter and longing for warmer weather. But, you still manage to get pictures posted every day ... so give yourself a pat on the back!
Your lamb has found his spot in the sun... I send you a bit of sunshine from India....if i could, to drive away the greys ... hope it reaches soon.... :)
..another member of the cold uninspired pack!!! Really had to force myself today so 100% understand!!! really looking forward to your post re the Easter parade! and the pic of your vicar!!
Was wondering the very same thing about the photo as I was reading this, I'm sure nobody would bother if you didn't take the photo but we MUST see Joey Boy in his prime role!
Love number 25 & he/she has positioned himself right in front of the yellow lichen...he must have known you were going to put him on 365!
Oh, that little baby is obviously enjoying those warm rays. The number makes him look like he's a contestant in a foot race. ;-0
I'm glad Joey Boy's informal rehearsals are going well. I expect to soon read that he gave an award winning performance.
And Yay for the pheasant. :-) Good news, indeed.

Cold will pass, and before you know it, it will be too hot ;)
Lovely little spring lamb is the sign of spring though :)
