Posting early today, because I have got to quickly flip from grumpy mother (currently biting my tongue because I can hear that Angus is currently enjoying his 25th minute in the shower and has got to leave the house in under ten minutes to catch his bus) to domestic goddess mode as my house is in serious need of some cleaning. I am then going over to see my Mum and Dad for an hour, and this evening we are going out with the village 'supper club' who every couple of months eat en masse at a local restaurant. The Three Pigeons in Banbury is the venue for our gastronomic and bacchanalian excesses tonight - a once grotty boozer, which has recently been transformed into a self-proclaimed gastro pub/boutique hotel..... we'll see if they live up to their self-imposed reputation.
It looks like a lovely, if cold morning out there but I am going to resist the temptation to take my camera out and post a shot from yesterday's visit to Farnborough lake.
Super shot of a gorgeous woodland niche - Sorry that you are still in a rather pessimistic mood hope the end of the day will prove to be a joy & good wine & food will mellow your look on life --Cheer up Jan --this is not like you -- :-)
A very inviting walk......I think you should leave your cleaning & walk outside in the cold sun!! We also have a grotty boozer transformed into a fine wine & dine seafood restaurant...it's full every night apparently...enjoy!!
