Don't envisage getting out with the camera today, so here's another from last week. For one thing I have got and afternoon of standing on the touchline of Sam's school rugby match, and for another it is raining heavily and freezing cold.
Had a good night last night with the village supper club. The place we went to was very good and we had a good turnout of 24 people with more on the waiting list. It was a little 'cosy' with all of us sat around one table that would have been better suited to about eighteen, but nobody seemed to mind.
The day today got off to an earlier start than I would have wished for because we had to go and pick Graham's car up from where he left it overnight before the parking restrictions started. We got there a bit late but just in the nick of time as a traffic warden was looming towards it with a triumphant gleam in his eye.
Graham and Angus have set of tor Twickenham where they are going to watch the England v Argentina match. There is a big fireworks display in the village tonight, but I am going dose the dog up with her doggy vallium this time to see if that takes the edge of her anxiety.
How can they say there is nothing going on in the country....when we lived in the middle of nowhere we could have gone out every night to something different!!! Enjoy your evening!
Lovely pic. Sounds like a great night out. Alot of people are completely over guyfawkes here. So many idiots letting them off and poor traumatized animals.
Great calmness and mirror like reflections!
