Love acers, and this it the first time it has been still enough to take pics of one of the ones in our garden.
A chore-filled Sunday. Wormed two of the donks (wish I'd had my camera to take pics of their disgusted expressions - one of them tried to get rid of the taste by rubbing his teeth in the soil) , removed the electric fencing which had been partitioning off part of their field, topped up the rat poison in the food store, cleaned out an old shed, put a load of outdoor seat cushions in there for the winter (hope they don't get mildew), cleaned a bathroom, cleaned the kids' shoes, did two loads of washing, hung out one load of washing, went to the pub for two glasses of wine, made dinner (Sam's Sunday lunch request - we've started taking it in turns to choose), cleared up.... living the dream!!!
Just dropped in to hit the Fav button and now I'm exhausted from reading your day's activities! It's a glamorous life. Must get my arse in gear - I won't clean our shed out for fear of a rat running up my arm!
Gorgeous colours, but I too am exhausted simply from reading your list chores. That is impressive work. (Those boys should totally be cleaning their own shoes though...!)
