I was only saying last week that this project makes us behave in strange ways. Well, here is another example. I have been fiercely guarding this log that I found in our wood pile and nurturing the tiny toadstools growing on it for a couple of weeks. The largest ones were about 1.5cm across their cap. It was a lovely bright but cold morning today, so after i had sorted the animals out I took a few photos.
Fab macro--love the textures --from the rough wood bark to the fragile silky toadstools It-is amazing what we now seek & admire when before we hardly noticed !! a fav
I have taken shots of the same subject matter in the same location (i.e. our log pile) hoping for a shot like this but never has it ended up this beautiful. Fav xx
Wow! Awesome when viewed large! The composition, the lighting, everything is perfect!
