So yesterday afternoon, completely fed up with the fact that we have been under leaden grey skies for days now, I decided that I was not going to be beaten by the weather so decided to go outside with my macro lens and get some photos anyway.
When I got to the top of the garden I heard a bit of a commotion coming form the donkeys' field and discovered that three of them were cantering around for no apparent reason. Angus and Jack launched a few kicks at each other and had a bit of play fight. I suspect that Lilly is coming into season so they are showing off.
Parents' evening could have been worse - the same old story. Lovely lad, works hard in class, not very good at homework, no reason why he shouldn't get A's all round if he does some work. Trouble is that is a big 'IF.'
At least we didn't have the traditional family row afterwards.
Wonderful shot. Know what you mean re the light. You could always try and make the London meet on Saturday- plenty of hot air at least . Well at least no argument so got to be a bit of a result .
@padlock Thanks Padlock - I would love to do the London meet up but we have got a few things on this weekend. So think of me standing on the rugby touchline when you are all having a lovely time will you?

Well that's not bad! He's not doing drugs/got somebody pregnant/run away from home (I assume!) so we should be glad - I've got friends who've had those types of things to cope with.
