Went to visit my Mum and Dad today. They live half an hour away from me in the village where I was brought up. Looking at things through my '365 eyes' made me realise how beautiful things that are so familiar often are. This is the first view you get of the village when you enter from a certain direction. The church is where I got married over 15 years ago.
I'm enjoying Project 365 for its encouragement to look at the familiar with new eyes. This is a lovely village and the texture of the brickwork is beautiful.
This is a charming shot. It all comes together beautifully. It looks like the quintessential village, so quaint. What a lovely place to have been married.
