I had a small break between clients so I went in search of the hooded mergansers that a friend had seen a couple days before. They must have migrated on but I practiced shooting birds in flight nevertheless. I didn't have either my bird lens nor my best camera so it isnt as focused as i would have liked. But I liked the curled wing and colorful background.
