Tool of the Trade by jnewbio

Tool of the Trade

It’s been a busy week of grading papers of my Biology students as the end of the semester approaches. Not much time for taking photos as a result! Here’s a tool of my trade which is becoming less and less needed as most student work is now graded online. My husband still buys new fun red pens though at Christmas to put in my stocking - this was this year’s - lovely fine point!
Love the simplicity in this.

I was thinking just before Christmas when writing gift labels just how little I write these days and my writing felt quite rusty.
I quite enjoy the physical act of writing and lament the loss of it in today’s tech world.
A nice simple shot of your new pen.

Clever! Hope that’s not an e-!

I always write with a proper old fashioned nib ink pen and a bottle of Quink......unless the paper is too thin and I have to resort to a biro. Glad to see you still using the traditional red pen method for marking!

Ah - crunch time for them and for you. And there's nothing worse than having to use a scratchy , horrible pen!!

My co-workers tease me about my pen obsession. LOVE this ... we don't grade papers except for the yearly competition for the county wide event. Usually, we quiz children verbally as a wrap-up to their learning experience when they come to us on their environmental education field trips.
