What a crisp clear morning it was - colors seemed so vivid, even those reflected in puddles after last night’s rain. When thinking of this title, I looked up the derivation of the word “canoodle”, and apparently folk etymology cites the use of canoes as an escape from chaperones by couples during Victorian and Edwardian times so they could “engage in activities such privacy allowed”!
