My get-pushed challenge was light trails. Thought the weather wasn't going to cooperate but no rain tonight. Second issue was I didn't want to go out alone. Third issue where so I could set up safely. Forth would I have enough traffic. So called my gf and her husband. He agreed to drive by if I needed it. They suggested by #1 pond. And Rod not only drove once we got the perfect place and it go dark enough but helped me with the whole process. Wahoo!! I set the shutter slow enough that even though he left late the shutter was still open and caught him. He's the red light going away. I have another car coming towards me.
Brilliant Joan - what a smashing result!! I am so glad you enjoyed it! Did you laugh when you saw the result?! (I did with mine!) What lovely friends to help you out! Well done ma'am!
@vignouse I think it's about the best response to a challenge yet. This is relatively easy. Who would have thought. Wait and someone will challenge you to do it.
@silverhorn It really isn't hard to capture the trick comes in figuring the timing. And getting one car going in one direction and another in the other so you get the double effect.
@shawnasays Two things to keep in mind - long shutter speed and being off to the side and not right on the light trail. Also helps to have a friend drive a car in the opposite direction so you get red and white lights.
