First bird at the feeder capture

So don't get on me about this being a bad picture and celebrate my joy in my first capture of a bird at my new feeder. I was trying to capture the bird and Two was there doing what cats do when there are birds outside and I started taking pictures of her when a bird landed on the feeder. Wanted a shot of her and the feeder and as you can see---bye, bye birdie. I need to remove the screen if I can to and to clean the glass if I am boing to get anything decent.
Great POV!

Joan, I love this!! Great shot of Two being, well...a cat...and a wonderful pov for capturing your first bird on the feeder. This bird will spread the word about the new hot spot in town and it won't be long before it brings it's friends. :-)

love the silhouettes like this where you can still see some detail. Yes indeed ... the birds will tell their fellows.

Love the silhouette of Two.

I like the window screen - it looks like a texture layer. It would have been nice to use the same PoV you used for 'Swish, swish, swish' so that you could have had a silhouette of Two and cut out the window frames - just my 5 cents.

@vignouse Me too but dang those birds they light for a few seconds and Two doesn't pose. And to add to my stress I was supposed to be leaving for work. I was actually trying to move into that spot when I saw the bird begin to move off the feeder.

Fingers crossed they'll be back, I don't encourage them in my garden as my cat doesn't need any encouragement.

Ohhhh...so well done. I have tried to get shots of Charlie looking out the window but not much success yet with what is in his POV. This is great!

@debbie3108 I don't have a garden and this feeder is squirrel proof (I've seen him try already).

@eyesmile Do you use a processing program. Mine was a little wiped out but I adjusted the exposure in Elements Camera Raw and got this. I don't shoot in anything but Raw on my Nikon.

@Featherstone Did you see I got a bird at my feeder. I won't be giving you a run for your money for a while yet.

I love this photo! My parents had cats, and this looks so typical. Nice shot!

You can just see what Two is thinking Joan in this. Great shot and I agree with Richard the screen gives it another dimension and texture.

I think her being in these pictures may be a regular thing as she keeps getting in front of the camera.

Love Two as your foreground!

I like the cat as the main focus!
