I am always saying that I have been on the back roads taking pictures. Thought a picture would be a nice add to my project. This was Monday and is an up hill ride around an s curve you start down and there is the Goose farm and the old house. I hope this conveys the peace and quiet I feel when I am on these roads most times. Also why I complain about finding a place to pull over. If it is quiet and a good stretch in back of me I pull over and take the shot. This morning it was very quiet and I just took the shot (3 bracketed shots) through the windshield. Not bad. Also on this road is the Sugar house I hope to visit tomorrow.
Yes it does. Looks like such a pleasant drive. I have problems pulling over for shots on country roads around us. They're so narrow. A beautiful scene, nicely bracketed :)
The whole thing is just so peaceful - in wintertime, your back roads are definitely more like one way roads! They don't give a whole lot of room for two passing cars! Bet this is pretty too when the leaves are on the trees.
@joansmor Looks like a beautiful peaceful place for a ride. Thanks for my get pushed challenge this week, I will enjoy doing 'light trails', although I may not do car lights. I have looked through your shots for the last few weeks and you have some lovely outdoor shots - it looks as though it has been pretty cold over there. Hope it warms up soon for you! I have taken on board what you said about your mobility problems, and I would like you to do a forced perspective image. So, you wouldn't necessarily have to do this out of doors, but could make some sort of set up indoors if you like. I hope you think this is OK, but as always, if not, let me know and I will think of something else. Have fun!
@suesouthwood I have to admit that this will be the third time to do this but I recently had a thought about one I could do I just have to clean out the cob webs and find that thought.
@joansmor Oh sorry, do you want me to think of something else? I am a relatve newbie to get pushed, but I guess there are only so many different challenges to suggest
