We are getting hit by a blizzard. Not just an ordinary one but a "bomb." A bomb - if the storm's pressure drops quickly enough, it will gain strength and become what's called a "bomb cyclone," and will essentially resemble a winter hurricane. I shoveled light snow twice today - 3-4 inches than 4-5. It is still going strong . The winds are expected to pick up tonight . I planted 3 groups of grass this fall. Liked this picture shot through window.
I've been hearing about the "bomb" on the news. Stay inside Joan and keep warm and safe! This is a gorgeous image. I love the minimalist look - such a big Fav of mine!
I heard about the "Snow Bomb" on our weather last night. Our weatherman said it was actually just what we call a Noreaster. Of course, a Texas weatherman wouldn't admit to a new, bigger weather condition in the East. Ha Ha
Ooh, we are watching the national news and just saw how hard the Northeast is getting hit! Stay safe and warm. This is beautiful shot, illustrates the current weather situation.
Terrific capture :) And we are hearing about it here in Australia. Ironic thing is we have warnings of extreme fire danger tomorrow as the temp reaches 41 -43 across the state!!!
@handymaurice Love that you commented on some of my favorites . Will try to to look at yours but planning a sunrise photo ride and a noon walk on beach.
I like the simplicity in this shot.
This is a beautiful photo, and will be a nice reminder of the cold when the heat of summer comes.
Love the grass peeking through all the snow.
