Cloudy skies and fading Autumn colors

I call this the russet period. It can appear quite colorful if you capture it in early morning or late afternoon sun. But with cloudy rainy weather is stealing the beauty. Rather than boosting the saturation I have added a texture to give it hopefully an old look. Also had an issue when I straightened auto in Lightroom so took it into Ps and used the Straighten tool - preferred this one.
