I could not believe what I was seeing when driving down in Pine Point looking for some photo opportunities. And there in the snow was the Classic Red Phone Box. I would have had this on my bucket list if I had thought I would ever get to England. You get the good with the bad here as the snow had been plowed in front of it. Will go back when snow is gone or maybe when it is higher.
The perfect background for our beloved red phone boxes Joan....looking it’s very best! Still lots of these red boxes here but mostly ornamental, the modern ones aren’t a patch & does anyone ever use them these days?
Love the way it emerges from the snow! Our village phone box no longer has a phone, but is used for local information, and as a home to the village Nativity Scene at Christmas.
I love a red phone box - many in the UK are still here but have different uses ie for defibrillators or as a book swap place. Hope they never disappear!
@tosee I might have to add that to my list now that I have found the red one which I thought I would never find. Lesson don't take things off the bucket list because you believe you will never will see it. Life can surprise you.
