The morning after

Sometimes the most beautiful day is the one after a storm. Now sometimes the melting begins and you are already getting dirty banking. But when the temps are in the teen's nothing much melts even with a brilliant sun. The truck that pulled up this driveway had no trouble getting through because it was powdery snow.

Wow- it must have been a pretty large truck- it made quite a ridge in the snow. Great sky color- it always seems that much more brilliant against the snow too.

I love to see the snow like this. It brings back memories of living in Canada. First in the prairies and then on the East Coast, both with very different weather conditions. We loved the snow, although not nice for the driving conditions.
