One thing I have noticed this week is these little bits of color in the trees. It's just starting and the big show is probably weeks away, but it is a reminder that the warmth of summer will give way to the cool of fall and then........
So lovely, here we are approaching the end of winter!! Next month is spring, but it is still very cold here in South Africa!! For us anyway, today will be 19C
Looking forward to seeing your pics of the autumn leaves, we don't get it so dramitacally here in Essex, but other parts of UK does. Sad to think we haven't had much of a summer but the nights are drawing in now and the morning has an autumnal feel to it.
Interesting. Yesterday I was taking some of these shots too. The hints are definitely there that the season has turned directions even down at these latitudes.
Wonderful colours and lighting. Our trees are all starting to sprout their new leaves and smells of new blossoms will soon be filling the air - my jasmine is already filling the air with its heady perfume!
I have seen some leaves turning color already too. We have a flowering crabapple in front of the house. It's leaves don't turn pretty colors they turn brown and fall off. It is losing it's leaves like crazy and it's only the beginning of August.
