The pier was the place to go when we were kids. It was lined with food places and those games like "ring toss." Unfortunately the original one burned in the fire in the 70's. This is another for my get pushed challenge of taking a night photo
@joansmor - I thought about asking if this was hand held, but didn't. Normally fairs are not a good place to try and use a tripod with all the people who aren't looking where they are going.
@skipt07 I only used it on the beach or the beach side of the merrygoround. But I am hoping to make a state fair in a couple of weeks and will keep that in mind. Doing it in daytime so hand held should work for most. But the harness racing- Umm tripod? What do you think.
A great 'conventional' night shot Joan. I think I would have been tempted to have pushed the ISO a bit in order to have reduced the shutter speed but, in the end, this worked out well. Excellent work.
What a great shot... Love the reflections. I feel like telling this guy to get off the phone, turn around and take in the view. But who am I to judge...
