This is James from Newcastle on Tyne in northern England. He was working on this huge wall with a milk crate full of spray paint cans. He explained that he first did the work on paper and transferred it to his iPhone after coding all the colours. The numbers and letters on the wall are colour codes.
This was taken in Newtown, a very old inner city suburb of Sydney. It is quite well known for its street art.
Thanks for the much appreciated comments. It really was an interesting chat.
The numbers represent a spray paint colour. He has the actual drawing on his iPhone with the colours/numbers superimposed. Easy!

Thanks for the much appreciated comments. Some of the art on the buildings in this area is just huge.
There is some good stuff on the walls and fences around this suburb.
