My get-pushed partner this week @sdutoit gave the options:
1 Panning or
2 Forced perspective or
3 Something unique to your community.
I went for forced perspective since I've never really tried this. I had several ideas but this one sorta worked. I added the vignette since it was rather boring by itself.
I know that I need practice with option No2-forced perspective.
@sdutoit This is my 2nd try at forced perspective. I know that I need to practice more with this technique. I enjoyed learning how and trying to use this effect. Thank you.
@pusspup Thank you. I was playing around with settings on my camera and landed on toy camera. @megpicatilly Thank you so very much for the fav. I like this try better than the previous one.
@sdutoit I am sorta happy with my shots but then again I am my worst critic. I did learn more about how to do forced perspective but now know that I have more to learn and try. Thank you for giving me options.
This is lovely, I really like the colour contrasts and the beautiful sunflower heads but I don't understand where the forced perception is in this picture. I am probably being really thick but please can you explain it to me. @joysabin
@octogenarian I went to Youtube for technical help but I gotta just play around more. @susale Thank you very much- but more playing/work needs to be done.
@stephanies I am new to this technique. Each bloom was progressively larger from left to right (front to back) with my lens at its widest they look about the same size. I think that I got this wrong but liked it anyway. The video on youtube that I watched used two similar sized objects shot with a extreme wide angle and they looks different sizes. http://learnmyshot.com/forced-perspective-technique-for-still-life-photography/ I know that I am going to fail at new stuff now and then but I am still having fun.
@megpicatilly Thank you so very much for the fav. I like this try better than the previous one.
